At A Time

Building the framework of your custom home with Insulated Concrete Forms.

Serving CarlEton Place AND Surrounding Areas.

We believe the process of building a forever home, shouldn’t leave home owners in the dark.

We are here to help you understand Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Construction in everyday language. We take what could be a very overwhelming experience and make it into a comprehensible, and often fun, experience.

Our goal is to make the building project less intimidating. We offer a variety of Shell Packages so you can choose which package best suit your needs.

What is ICF?

Insulated concrete forms are manufactured from polystyrene (EPS) and are stacked, steel reinforced and then filled with concrete. This creates continuous insulation, and a thermal mass of concrete, making an air-tight envelope that is quiet, draft free and does not enable mold.

Insulated Concrete Forms are a proven alternative to traditional building methods, which results in homes that are more energy-efficient, stronger, safer, and that stay comfortable in all weather conditions.

Why we think you’ll love ICF construction

ICF Construction

ICF doesn’t decay over time

ICF homes provide a sustainable alternative to traditional building methods that use lumber which can deteriorate and decay over time. ICF is made to last, using materials that do not require maintenance and retain permanent quality.

Insulated Concrete Forms

ICF is pest-proof

With ICF being made up of polystyrene and concrete, a major benefit is that these materials leave no space or food value for termites and pests, that can otherwise plague and weaken wood structures.

Custom millwork

ICF prevents dust and allergens

There is no air filtration with materials used in ICF. The solid concrete and polystyrene blocks dust and other allergens from passing through exterior walls which can contaminate interior spaces.

Custom millwork

ICF is built to last

Traditional builds that are made of lumber tend to have shorter life-spans, requiring more fixes and maintenance. ICF homes use materials that offer premium quality, strength, and longevity. Make your dream home a forever home.
